Education
We teach students enrolled in agricultural and environmental sciences. At the BSc level we provide knowledge on the components of the soil-plant-fertilizer system, which qualifies the students to develop integrated nutrient management concepts. At the MSc level, teaching focuses on nutrient dynamics in soil-plant systems, including the ecology of the rhizosphere. Highlights are experiments where students follow isotopic tracers and use molecular tools. Our teaching takes also place in laboratories, greenhouses, and agricultural fields. Our courses address a variety of techniques to support students in an active learning process, in critical thinking and the development of soft skills. We also offer BSc and MSc projects.
